S.B.D.I.C (School Bus Driver Improvement Course)

This is a mandatory course for student who desired to have class B/E

S.B.D.I.C designed to sharpen a driver’s skill through a structured look at experiences and problem areas shared by all driver’s such as bad weather,winter roads,pressures of time and distance, etc.

This course focuses on driver’s’ expectations and analysis of dangerous situations. It assumes that the driver’s know what they are doing before they take the course. S.B.D.I.C is taught from a professional perspective.

Prerequisites: Driver’s must hold a valid Ontario’s Driver’s License with ‘G’ Class or higher

  • Driver’s Fitness
  • Vehicle Conditions
  • Air Brakes
  • Defensive Driving
  • Passenger pick up & drop off
  • Procedure evacuation in emergency conditions
  • Adverse Conditions
  • Backing

Learning Outcomes: Upon successful completion, participants will be able to:

  • Explain a through knowledge of the laws and regulations that apply to operate the vehicle inspection procedure.

Format Classroom: Interactive workshop with formal instructions, video

Evaluation: Full attendance, class participation, written and practical test for successful completion.

Test: Multiple Choice (Theory)

Certification: M.T.O. approved Certificate from ONTARIO SAFETY LEAGUE
